  Sure, build something for people to solve their problems, don't work on rough ideas.
  
  Try to find customers before you actually build something and serve them manually without any software.
  
  Do things that don't scale at the start.

    We're definitely trying to do less heavy-engineering and more idea validation at the moment.
    
    We're getting some decent traffic on the website but it's been pretty difficult to get signups so far.
