Hit $500 MRR after 8 months
Hey IH'ers, I'm the solopreneur behind Famewall
I started working whole-heartedly on Famewall 8 months ago after coming back from another product
While it took me 7 months to get to $400 MRR, it took me just 1 month to hit $500 MRR
The results started paying off when I improved the user onboarding in my product, invested in content marketing, and became more focused on my goals with social media
I still have a lot of work to do and a long way to go. But truly grateful to be having amazing entrepreneurs & companies as customers!
P.S. I'm trying to improve my marketing skills day by day as I'm a software developer at heart 😂

I went all in on SEO basically. Very slow to start but it has got https://webtoapp.design to $4k MRR, so I'm not complaining. I'm now looking at hiring someone part-time for other marketing since I'd rather focus on building new features or work on my new business (responsebrain.com) ;)

Congratulations! I love the idea of your product. Could you please explain how users can submit testimonials to our website and have them added directly?
Hey Bucky. So there are 2 ways
You can paste the link like page.famewall.io/famewall at the bottom of the page with the text "Leave us a testimonial"
You can embed the entire collection page at the bottom of your website with the help of an embed code so that users can send you a testimonial directly
And from your dashboard you can just add the collected testimonials by clicking approve or you can use automation to directly add them

One tip is to always make it quicker for your user to realize the "Aha moment". Users would always drop off
In my case, I just made it easy to create a testimonial wall right at the time of onboarding & prepopulated the testimonial collection forms so they could realize the value faster
