Covid-19 hasn't been the most generous of times. However, last month at Draftss.com was pretty good. Here are some stats to look at:
π° MRR: $14,769
π Total Customers: 38
π» Unique visitors: ~2500
This has been the highest ever MRR we have achieved. Looking forward to breaking this record in October.
What was your MRR for September?
Your prices make me think I should start a productized service using your productized service as the backend :D
Haha... Alot of our customers are design companies who use our services on the backend and extend the results to their customers.
If you are really planning to do something like this, I would be happy to discuss this over in detail.
Do you have an affiliate program as well?
Yes, we do have an affiliate program here: https://draftss.firstpromoter.com
Ha I actually might be interested!
A.k.a. Dropservicing
didn't know there was a term for it! :)

Great stuff. Congrats! would love to connect and discuss potential referral partnership! We also had a solid month - $13,546 gross, 9K MRR!
Thanks. Would love to connect with you, Matt. You can find my email on my profile.
Congrats, Junaid! I love the model you're using for this. What's helped you most to this point in terms of customer acquisition?
Thanks, Justin. To be really honest, we are still figuring out what's working out and what's not. Majority of our conversion is via organic leads, IH, Reddit & Facebook.
We have barely scratched testing out Paid Ads so far as we have been too focused on getting the internal process in place first.
Getting featured on a platform occasionally helps bump the numbers a little bit.
Congrats π. That growth is tremendous. Do you do any advertising. How does your funnel look like? If you feel free to share that'd awesome if not still okay.
We haven't done any advertising as such. We have just tested Ads with a few hundred dollars last month. This month too we will be spending a thousand dollars to test how it goes.
Congrats, but how in the heck could this be profitable?
Thanks. I would say it's the difference in the process of fulfillment that helps us being profitable. Instead of simply assigning one designer to one client we streamline incoming tasks to teams comprising of a logo & branding designer, UX/UI specialist, Illustrator & a generalist. Depending on the type of task, it goes to a specialist designer and that way we are able to serve a higher number of clients comparatively.
Just realized I was looking at the weekly price... the monthly price makes a lot more sense to me. Anyway, your guys are pretty good, I might actually have you do some stuff for me in the future.
That's great, Konstantin. Would love to have you as a customer.
Connect with me anytime you plan on signing up and I would be happy to extend a special discount for our IH community members.

@JunaidBhai First off, congrats on the huge milestone. I find it interesting that Draftss hasnβt seen a similar level of growth as DesignJoy during COVID-19. Iβve seen over 300% growth. Why do you think that is? Your prices are obviously super reasonable, less than 1/3 of mine.
What's your secrete for over 300% growth? What are your most profitable marketing channels?
Thank you, Brett. Most of our customer acquisition had been organic. At Draftss, we founders do not design or develop anything. We have automated the process so the team takes care of the client requests. Majority of our customer acquisition has been organic. I think more than 70% or so. We got knocked out of front page rankings for some of our main keywords which led to the significant difference between our growth percentages. Moreover, it's could also be due to the 50% off that we also extended to our past customers thereby decreasing the existing value per customer per month.
Well, for one he would need 3 times more customers than you to reach the same revenue. That certainly isn't easy.
@karthik_2206 Revenue is irrelevant to my question. I'm inquiring about growth.
Solid month π₯
Love the productised model. Curious to know what your margins are on total revenue.
Thanks. The margins have been pretty slim as we were running a 50% off on our monthly subscriptions. But normally they range anywhere between 30-40%.
Just $200 haha but we work with transaction fees no monthly fees.
How many customers did you get September?
I am sure this month is definitely going to be better for you.
The churn rate in our niche is pretty high. You can say 20-25 were new customers among which there were customers who had used our services in the past.

I believe it's due to the high ticket value productized service. Moreover, we upsell Quarterly & Annual plans to our customers with a hefty discount.
