AHH I'm absolutely buzzing about this milestone for https://www.ollie.health/
Mental health support for 200+ Entrepreneurs that are helping to build the future of this country.
Entrepreneurship can be a lonely pursuit.
Working a lot comes with huge life trade-offs, and requires having almost too much self-belief.
We NEED more support, and access to truth-seeking conversations can be a superpower, not a weakness.
Quitting my job in the middle of the pandemic to start Ollie, it was lonely. Telehealth? Fad. Mental Health? does it even matter?
When everything is on the line and you're being told you’re wrong. Well, that's kinda when you find out who you are.
I wish I had more support, and it is our mission to provide that for every person out there who is brave enough to try to build the future.
great feeling, congrats!
That is such a great idea, Marc. I've worked in a lot of companies since '99 and only in one (recent one, 500-1000 staff) did Mental Health make it onto the company's agenda. It's such an under-appreciated part of life, and as you said - entrepreneurship is lonely and stressful.
Well done
Really appreciate the words of support 🙌 I think if we're honest with ourselves therapy and mental health support has only ever been accessible for the top 1%. With remote care, we can help more people have a support system.
Love it! Your subscription model is a great approach to monetization. Way better than a pay as you go model, especially for such a sensitive topic. Your plans are really affordable for the offered inclusions. To me, It's a no brainer offer for most HR departments that are looking for a mental health solution for their employees (remote and non remote).
A few questions if you don't mind
1/ What's your agreement with the therapist? Do you pay them on a monthly basis for a fixed amount of hours of their schedule? Or how does it work? I suppose you pitch the platform to therapist as being an opportunity to fill up down time?
2/ What's your expected gross margin (after therapist expenses)? Therapists are notoriously expensive...
3/ Are you looking to on board therapists with certain specialty? Par example, I, as a founder, rather speak to a therapist that can relate to my founder experience (maybe a founder themselves in the past).
4/ What's your sales strategy? Corporate clients , where the money is (and probably many unused sessions), usually need dedicated sales staff.
Keep it up! 🙌
Congratulations, Marc. Keep it up.
I would likee to know more about Ollie's journey.
I just checked https://twitter.com/marcgregi This URL is not working. It's on IH.

Definitely. 💯
Congratulations to the team!!
Thanks for the support @upenv 🙌
Congrats! How have you been dealing with the stress of working on Ollie?
@nuvic I use my ollie credits to book a session with a therapist once a week. Even on weeks that I'm feeling super good. It's been nice to have that sounding board. Sessions are remote so it's been easy to keep in my schedule.
Small (but powerful) habit I have been doing every morning is breathwork. Takes like 5 minutes, and it's well worth trying out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tybOi4hjZFQ&t=199s
Nice I've also been doing the wim hof breathing exercises!
SO good in the mornings. Try to do it before I get sucked into the whirlwind of the internet 😂
Congrats on your milestone!
Mental health is so critical. Even if you build a successful business, if you don't take care of your mental health, you're unlikely to feel good. I hope that you're able to help many people with Ollie Health!
PS I read through your blog posts on Ollie health, and they didn't all seem complete. It might be better to remove the incomplete ones (like this one: https://www.ollie.health/post/founder-mental-health).
Looking forward to hearing more about your journey in the future!
Thanks so much for the support 👏 I'll check out that CMS issue!
