My directory of online communities Hive Index is now at 867 communities across 73 topics! 🤯
It started out as a small weekend project because I noticed there wasn't a good resource like it, and I just wanted to stop thinking and ship something. Now it has grown into a resource that helps 4000 people find communities for their interests every single month.
Yeah, it's a tiny non-revenue-generating website that's really just a glorified spreadsheet, but I'm proud of it!
I told myself that when it reaches 1000 I'll touch up the design and launch it on Product Hunt (would be my first PH launch)
Keep me accountable on this one folks!

Hive Index has kind of been on autopilot for the past couple of months, growing via SEO & word of mouth. People write in to submit their communities and every once in a while I'll go curate a new topic, so I keep it growing with minimal effort.
Right now though as I'm getting up to this milestone I set for myself, I'm planning to take a couple weeks to prep it for a PH launch. It'll be nice to give it some design love and implement a few of the features that have been on my backlog for a while.
