Ho do I plug a link to my viral reddit post? (90k views)

Hey!

I've published a post to reddit that went viral and became the #1 of the month in r/startups.

Rules of this subreddit do not allow to add links to promote your services. That's why I kept it without links (even didn't link to the services I mention).

How can I plug a link to this post without being punished? Should I update the post, leave it in comment or something else?

Thank you!

PS

The post is 9 tips for non-tech founders to build the right MVP today

I want to add a link to my company, Paralect. We partner with early-stage founders to build their products following my recommendations from the post.

I think for grey areas like that, I would message the mods about it first.

I think if you edit, it should be fine, but always check first.

    Hey Igor,
You can add it in the comments , from my experience I don't think you can add it to the post if the rules prohibit that without getting penalised. Thing is it will be of low value some how cause you know traffic from reddit is very volatile and it diminishes after few days & the post is going old now I believe. However It will have value as a backlink to your company's site so if you decided to do so craft a good post in the comments to reap this value.

and indeed the safest way would be to confirm with mods, however I think comments are ok if you are adding relevant link that adds value to the main thread.

one more thing to do is to add it to your profile on reddit if you haven't done already.

Thank you! Will try to contact mods. I've dropped a link in the comment but it way down right now :)
