Holis landing page feedback request.

Hello folks đź‘‹,

I have some time working on Holis, a Project Management + Internal Communication SaaS platform.

The product is in closed beta for now (You can register to obtain early access), but I recently launch a new landing page for the product.

I would really appreciate all the feedback you can give me.

Thanks

I think some of the phrases could be further improved to make them more "problem" rather than "feature" oriented, e.g. "Turn off all communications and notifications, to focus on work when you need to." -> "Do you need to focus? Simply enter a distraction free mode and get work done!"

    Hope this is useful!

đź‘‹Peter, thanks for taking the time to help me.

You are absolutely right in guiding the features to the problems it solves.

    Hey @vĂktor,

First, congrats on getting this rolling.

Here are some thoughts on the landing page.

The design makes it hard to focus on reading the copy. The main headline is dark text that overlaps the blue blobs. The text gets cut off and you have to work to read it.

The animated element that read "Your meeting is about to begin" bounces over the subhead and the main call to action, making those hard to read.

In several other places, your design elements are conflicting with the content. The laptop image has a shadow that creates a contrast issue with the "Holis is the place to communicate..." crosshead.

I would honestly strip out the majority of the design elements and focus on the copy. Maybe keep a nice screenshot of the product.

For the copy, as @palmik mentioned, I would focus more on why Holis exists. Why did you create this? Why does your customer need this? What benefit do they get from using it? All of your copy should be written from that mindset. I wouldn't list a single feature unless you tell how it is beneficial.

You have some of that in this content block:

"Remote work involves problems that most teams are not prepared for; isolation, incorrect communication, overwork, lack of visualization of the environment are some of the inconveniences that we face when our team when the situation forced us to migrate to 100% remote."

That gets more into what I think the root of the problem is. Going fully remote removes some of the living office vibe that some people need. My team faces some of this too. For example, just having the ability to do a quick whiteboarding session with a fellow dev is a little harder when we're all remote. You need to tap into those kinds of things directly with your content.

Make your copy more natural. More conversational.

This headline for example, feels dry and doesn't connect with any real emotion:

"The definitive toolkit for productive remote teams"

That doesn't say anything that any other product can't claim.

Find the heart of Holis and write from there. You want to write from the Voice of Customer.

If you have examples of any real conversations that led to the ideation and creation of Holis, use those words and that language. Likewise, if you have conversations from people who are not satisfied using the many permutations of all of the existing productivity tools (Slack, Jira, Azure DevOps, Teams, etc) use those words and that language.

Hope that helps and good luck!

      đź‘‹ David,

Thank you for the invaluable time you have given me, I will take into account all your comments.

English is not my first language, perhaps for this reason y writing feels unfriendly, this was the main reason to get some feedback.

      Thanks again.
