hi rené! here are my thoughts. keep up the good work :D

    • i dont know where to start on this page... usually i read from the top but there's a crazy bright orange banner in the middle, plus a scary red banner at the top. i'm confused and all over the place
    • once i scroll down below the orange banner, the site looks very professional and trustworthy! but before i do that, it looks like a sloppy powerpoint presentation. what is going on!
    • i like seeing the reviews from google yelp and avvo, that's great!
    • you have two "contact us" forms on the home page. do they work? from my own experience, forms like that are not worthwhile for users. they often send questions/comments into a black hole. it's also unclear to me what the outcome is. will you call me? will you email me? how long will that take? i would rather just call so that i can get a response right away.
    • the photo of the two men (the firm partners?) on the right adds personal touch which is great but the image quality is low. it doesn't look good overall.
    • the sloppiness of the above-the-fold content makes me think that maybe you got this site built for you some time ago but now manage it yourselves and aren't very good with tech. it's fine to not be great at tech and still be a great lawyer, but from a truly great firm, i would expect the savviness hire someone to clean it up
    • 100000% it's good for you to have something that addresses the covid issue. if i go to a website that doesn't have that, i am left totally in doubt that they are even still in business.

It was pretty clear to me what you're about.

I would just avoid vague statements like "We help you get the best possible result and compensation in your case". Everyone can claim that.

On the other hand, you have something really interesting: "NOTABLE SETTLEMENT: $1.6 million settlement for a metal worker that was exposed to various dust particles." and I think you should move that up the page. This thing adds to your credibility vs. saying a generic statement like "We help you get the best possible result". So the more specific, the better.

    Hi René,

Hope you are well and safe. I am a UX/UI Designer and Webflow Developer and would like to give you some constructive feedback on your website. I have designed dozens of websites for clients before. I review and design interfaces for a living.

    • Overall the website design is on par with most of the legal websites I have seen. However, the design and layout can be improved to match the caliber of more modern websites in other realms (i.e. finance, technology).

    • Ideally the red bar with the information about COVID could go into the very top. It is a standard pattern in web design to present important information (i.e. shipping delays, sales) etc. at the very top of the website. Right now, the bar is overlaying the hero section. Also it is only visible on the Home Page and not other pages.

    • You can improve the layout for the hero section and structure the text and visual content differently. It seems cluttered a little bit.

    • You can dedicate less space to the button "Oprime Aqui Para Leer en Español" by maybe including 'EN' and 'ES' in the navigation bar instead. It'll make the landing page feel less cluttered. The user can switch between the English and Spanish website by clicking on either text link.

    • Overall, you can condense some of the text content into blocks and components (i.e. cards) that are easier to read and follow. Otherwise, there is overwhelming content on the Home Page.

    • You can use one style of button instead of two. Right now there are two styles: Please Review My Case (in the footer) that turns blue upon hover and another Please Review My Case (in the contact us now form on the right-hand side) that turns green upon hover. I'd recommend sticking to one button style for consistency.

    • It is usually a common pattern to click on team members' faces to read more about their background/bio. That said, I don't know if you need to have the copy "Learn more about our lawyers by clicking on their photographs," right above the lawyers row

    • You can use anchor tags on the 'Workers' Compensation page' for each injury type listed. When the user clicks on an injury type the page would scroll down to the part about the selected injury. Right now, the interaction works so that clicking on an injury type loads another page. However, if you go with my suggestion the page can get really long.

    • Not entirely sure why the 'FAQ' page is named 'FAQ.' By looking at that page it looks like a landing page for your most recent blog posts. The title 'Blog' or 'Articles' feels more natural.

    Hope that all helps.

    Best,

    Irem
