Honeyhive - sell domain or develop?
I received a pretty good offer for this domain (its .com), but I prefer to setup something that produces regular income (even if small). One domain research tool said there's between 500-1000 searches for this domain word combo a month with a CPC between $0.3 and $1.15.
Any suggestions for further research, ideas?
you should figure out what was the expected content from visitors
maybe put a form asking them ( easies & quickest way) when they visit the landing page
once you understand what is the right niche , maybe build a blog and add great content
from experience, you should search high ranked content for that niche to understand whats trending, then start writing ( you can ask freelancers)
great articles are between 1,500 - 3,000 words ( that will beat competitors for higher ranks) < depending on that niche & competitors)
Then you can inject ads, affiliates and leads generator
keep in mind: to start gaining, it would take around 3-6 months after doing a number of great content ( search algorithms kicks in ) , then you would see good increased traffic coming from organic search.
I recommend: 20-30 great articles
