Hosting for laravel app?

I will launch a web app written in laravel soon, I was thinking on Digital Ocean to host it, any advice out there? thanks.

    I have personally used AWS free tire and paid tire as well to launch my Laravel app. Digital ocean is no different. Here are my insights:

    1. Always keep your Database private to your Laravel App. Change the port no and do not expose it.
    2. Make sure you put your app in production mode. Write all your errors to a log file (Date wise)
    3. Give proper permissions to storage folders so that not all folders are exposed
    4. If possible separate your DB and application by placing them in two separate droplets.
