How 200$ ad spend turned into 800$ MRR

Hello fellow builders!

Today, I'm going to show you how I'm running a Facebook ads campaign that is generating nearly 4$ for every dollar that I spend on it.

My SaaS is called Tweetscrape, and it's the same tool I'm using to accomplish these results, and I'll explain the exact method I've been using it so that you can get the same results, if not better.

First of all, you need some quality creatives, I'm using videos at the moment but noticed that some picture creatives work just as well.

But creatives are not the main focus of this strategy, otherwise, I'll be making a generic Facebook ads guide here. What really is important is this:

Lookalike audiences

After IOS 14, these are GOLD, but how do you generate a good lookalike audience, especially when you don't have thousands of customers that you can use?

Well, this is where Tweetscrape comes into play.
Search on Twitter for your competitors or complimentary products that your ideal customers use, in my case I targeted both lead gen and cold emailing tool, then go to Tweetscrape and scrape the followers of those accounts, ideally you'll want 2/3 lists with 1/2k emails each so you have room to compare their performance later.

Now, just create the lookalike audiences on your Facebook ads manager (just Google a guide, it takes 5 minutes) and you're done.
Just start running the ads now, and let them run for at least a week to see maximum results, remember that Facebook needs to learn, so don't turn off ads too early if they're unprofitable.

Bonus strategy:

Run the same creatives on each of the audiences (eg. 3x creatives on 3x audiences = 9 combos), and scale the combos with the higher ROAS, that in my case were 3.5/4x, and drop the low-performing ones.
