How a 180-Day AI Simulation Saved Me Months (and Mistakes).

Lately, I’ve been hooked—not on a game, but on something called the Startup Stress Tester—a simulation I built myself from a set of carefully crafted prompts.

It’s a tool that takes your startup idea and runs it through a brutally realistic 180-day simulation—covering market validation, user personas, growth bottlenecks, and even the reasons you might fail. Unlike those “startup success fantasy” simulators, its results are cold, honest, and real.

I ran a few of my past projects through it, and the feedback was painfully accurate but incredibly insightful. For example, with a multi-channel notification service based on Apprise, the AI pointed out that our onboarding was too complex and conversion would be low. That led me to refocus on the most popular channels and simplify the authorization flow.

I’m thinking of turning it into a full-fledged product—but the Stress Tester itself told me to validate first. So I spent an hour building a simple prototype in Gemini Canvas.

This is the version you’re seeing right now.
