How are people finding my email on Indie Hackers?

An old soul engineer here. I have a question for sales-savvy folks.

I like IH community. But sometimes I get emails from people saying, "hey! I saw you on Indiehacker! Would you be interested in...". That happens even when I haven't posted anything for months.

I'm not offened or anything. Just curious how are these people finding my email through Indiehacker? Is there like a scraping tool, or an email list being sold?

I know there exists an email finder like Hunter.io, but entering my profile page there doesn't show any email.

If you look into your profile, next to your picture, links to your email and Twitter account can be found.

Aha. Got ya. I'm dumb. Do you think people go through the forum and view profiles one by one? Or, it's some type of automatic scraping?

Scraping is doable, so maybe someone did it to create a list of users.
Or maybe the person collected emails manually and created a small list.
        I have no idea hehe

Your @kaffee email is literally on your profile. From there, it's pretty easy to get a hold of your personal email via tools like Hunter.io and similar

      Uhhh ok. OMG. haha.

Ya, some were being sent to my personal email so I was wondering! Didn't know Hunter.io give a personal email!
