How big is your email list?

I started blogging with my partner this year but we are not getting visitors yet, that's why we don't have an email list.
How many subscribers do you have right now? and what are the best hacks that you can share with us to grow an email list.
Email every single person you know who you think might want to be on the list.
A hack that I think actually works but might also work against you. Download your gmail contacts. Everyone. and email them.
Make it a pretty personal email about what you're doing. Also make it seem like you are blasting your friends and contacts about it.

So far we made around $10k in sales from Frontendor and we are about to launch a new package for SaaS and web apps components.
But I want to grow an audience, email list, etc before launching it.
