How can I evaluate multiple business ideas efficiently?
Hi am looking to built a business, so how can I evaluate multiple ideas to figure out which has the most interest?
My thought is to built a landing page for each idea and get organic traffic to the site and then people can sign up to a subscribe list to announce to them when the product might become available and so they provide feedback.
I am not sure if I need to buy a domain for each idea or I can use for example productname.card.co, if I were to use them as a provider.
What do you think of this approach and can you recommend any platforms that make this easy and reasonably affordable to host many landing pages?
Agree with @yusuf_giftworks stick with one idea and validate/invalidate it as quickly as possible.
I would dm folks, but having a landing page with a custom domain makes it look like a serious project :s
How would you dm people without becoming obnoxious salesy and how would you find the right people to talk to? 🙂
Ideally you know where they hang out, if someone complains about the issue dm them.

Do exactly as you thought in your post. Build a landing page, then post the idea here on Indie Hackers as your milestone or in the landing page feedback group, and see whether your business idea resonates with anybody else. The key here is to release it fast, don't aim for perfection.

Since you're at the idea stage, don't spend money yet.
You can use a free service like carrd.co to create a landing page.
Here are the only things you need on a landing page:
If you can create a short video, that is better but it has to be a quality video.
Don't be wordy with text.

I think it's better if you evaluate one idea at a time. There's a challenge done called 12 startups in 12 months. Maybe you could adopt that approach instead.

You don't start with ideas. You start with painful problems people are willing to pay money. You don't need any landing page. Just call them or talk to them via Zoom and presell your product before you build. That's how you validate painful problems quickly.
Guess I need to find more people somehow then. Its just difficult to get in contact with people for example on forums where someone is looking for a solution, because they may never see your reply.
