Hi everyone,
I’m working on a small indie project inspired by narrative-driven simulation games, similar to Summertime Saga
. I’ve noticed that while the game has a dedicated audience, keeping players engaged and attracting new users consistently is challenging.
What strategies have worked for you in growing engagement and retention for story-heavy indie games? Are there particular marketing channels, community-building approaches, or content updates that have been especially effective?
Any insights or real-life experiences would be really appreciated!
