How can I grow my Twitter audience?

Find a humble influencer/popular person on twitter who tries to respond and communicate with everyone.

Make a thread about what's he/she up to or simply his success on twitter, boost their ego and get a retweet as reward.

Rinse and repeat.

I started building my audience on Twitter around an year ago. I currently have ~40k followers (https://twitter.com/sunilc_).

For me growth came through:

1. Consistency: tweeting everyday
2. Replying to massive accounts.

Someone here gave great advice on this in an interview - I can't tell which one. But the advice was essentially this, make sure your following 5-10 people with large audiences and monitor when they tweet. Then start replying to the tweets. This will get you some easy views, interactions as people check out the tweet and then scroll you and see yours! Give it a try, free sauce.

Why do you want more Twitter followers?

I know it's usually "the more attention the better", because attention is required as a creator and founder now.

I'd rather have a lower amount of followers who are highly engaged or in my community/niche area.

But the idea of a lot of people following me also makes me kind of nervous 🤣

1000 is a good start, congrats! Since I have less, I don't really have an advice hah.
