How can I make better use of my newsletter contents?
I have a subscription box for Japanese candy. Every time I send a box, I write an explanatory newsletter that explains what all the stuff in the box is.

But since I'm doing this work already, and it often takes up an entire day to photograph, research and write one, I'm wondering if I could make some other use for this content as well.
My hope was that it would get picked up by Google and send some SEO traffic, but that hasn't worked out. Although I have over a hundred newsletters indexed, in the past year they sent less than 200 clicks. Not surprising I guess, since they're just chock-full of terms no-one would ever search for.
Next, I thought I could post the images on Instagram. But predictably, no-one cares, despite taking the time to enter relevant tags. I also post these on the site's FB page, with similar results.
Can you think of some other beneficial use for this content?
I was trying to find your Instagram as that is what I would recommend, but found similar/competitors instead. Maybe you can learn something about what they are doing? e.g. https://www.instagram.com/japancandybox/
You could analyze the editions for the top used words. You could put them into a database and see which brands show up the most.
You could make a top 10 list of all time. Top 10 list for different flavor palettes.
Year in review, editors pick.
As you've done s lot of work to date and accumulated a lot of knowledge, you should have an idea which keywords or phrases might be helpful to be featured under. Maybe write a few posts around these phrases on your site blog. As it's quite niche, it should be possible to get more traffic this way.
I'd look for FB Groups with people from Japan in the USA or travelers that frequently go to Japan.
Another medium could be Reddit.
Then share your latest newsletters there, and try to form a conversation around it. You want to interest people enough so they'll interact with your content.
Another thing you could do is make a monthly "These are the top 10 Japanese candies in December", and just re-use your content for that. Post it to FB, Reddit, etc.
