How Can I Optimize Website Homepage?

Hello Everybody!

Looking for feedback/advice on optimizing my websites homepage. Added text content throughout to help with ranking but now I think it looks crammed and chaotic.

Wondering if anyone can define a certain layout I should be adhering to and if there are any tricks for adding content without causing clutter and confusion.

website: saucewarehouse.com

Thanks!

I had a look, a couple of points that I noticed:

    1. Some images have a black background and some have a white one, feels inconsistent.
    2. When I'm looking at the different images of Baller Jars, the image sizes are different, so the mini-images (at the bottom) move up and down, which does not feel smooth.
    3. The hero section looks very black and empty. You can either add some more text or use a better background.
    4. "What our customers are saying" - The blue background does not look good.

      1. I might be able to retake some of the photos with a white background, but some of them just absolutely have to have a black background for the product to actually be visible.

      2. Are you looking at the site via Desktop? On mobile there isn't the huge empty space and most people use mobile. But I guess I could make another image specifically for desktop that has more 'stuff' in it.

Thank you for the feed back. What you are seeing is actually my attempt at cleaning up the mess I made this post about. It was even worse. I'll take a look at the other things you mentioned, I was already planning on replacing the reviews section I just need to find a better one. That one is sort of sketchy.

Hi, I was seeing it from a Desktop site. Any development takes a lot of iterations, and one thing I love about IH is that we can get and give honest feedbacks to help each other grow better. I love your logo btw :)

Lol I cannot even count how many times I've switched everything around for this site. I hope someday soon I get it to a point where it can be left alone for a while. And thank you SO much for the compliment! Seriously adds much needed fuel to the fire.
