How can I persuade you to grant google access to my application?
Hi all.
I am making a web app which uses Google's 3 APIs together.
People, Tasks and Calendar APIs.
Because of I am not using any database and I am not storing any user info on my side, I need read and write permissions for the 3 APIs.
But I don't know if users will be willing to give my app that whole permissions.
This is a kind of productivity app.
Do you think I have any chance? :)

If it were read only access, you might be able to pursue people, but read and write? If your target market is tech savvy people (and generally productivity app users are tech savvy), then you're going to have a very difficult time asking them to give write access, especially as an unknown startup.
I'd recommend going for a way to build the app such that it does not require write access.
Unfortunately if I will not have a database, I have to bind your person (contact) ID with your calendar with writing API's database.
I think it depends on who your target group is for the app. If it is tech people I would say that most of them wouldn't. I personally wouldn't.

Not sure, but here is another idea. Can you make disable those sweet features that require write access in your app? And then ask for permissions only on demand.
I need write access because I don't want to use any database and the only chance for me to bind APIs is writing on your account. Like binding your contact ID with Task ID.
Try your best to offer the simplest explanation on why you need the access and how it will make their app experience better
also show where they can revoke access anytime.
