I have created an App on google play store 1.5 months ago which has around 45k installs, and every day it is getting 1K install approx. I am not able to focus on the app because I want to make another SaaS business which I am really passionate about. Is it possible to sell this app Whereas it doesn't generated any revenue till yet. Its a File Sharing app, I don't want to continue with this app and I need some money as well for my next SaaS business. What should I do? Where can I sold it? What should be the value of it?
45.000 installs plus 1k per day is brilliant. Maybe try to find an active co-founder with skills and interest in monetisation, and then mainly do maintenance work to keep the app running and to implement the monetisation features. And the rest of the time you spend on your new project.
Sell a part or offer it to your co-founder depending on certain milestones. And then sell everything once you have found a way to monetise.
Yesterday bitsfordigits was presented in Producthunt, they help selling a part of your company. Maybe have a try?
I agree with this....once it starts to generate a profit, I think your passion for it will change.
Where can I found a co - founder and what can I offer him to be part of it?
Maybe sign up on bitsfordigits.com, and say co-founder with xyz skills, offer xyz% of the company for xyz €/$. And see what happens.
You haven't mentioned the name of the app here I suppose?
In addition there is also a thread co-founder here on indiehackers
Oh Sorry, I have updated the Post with my App listing on google play store.
Does it has potential big by any chance?
Partnership is good, but I think remote partnership is not that much great, what you think about it?
As said, the project clearly has traction. If you don't want to try and explore a co-founder, selling a part of it, there is also tinyacquisitions.com to sell your entire side project.
https://microacquire.com
you could list it on that kind of marketplace and see what happens. They will probably help you estimate the value of your app (45k installs is valuable even with no revenue)
From my experience microacquire doesn't accept applications with no revenue.
Another option is indiemaker.co
did not know that, my bad
Try to reach out to app studios maybe they are interested or why not use Microns.io by https://twitter.com/ilyanovohatskyi I sold my side project with microns.
