How can I test/validate my B2B prototype with companies, as they have security/privacy concerns with 3rd party apps?
I have a prototype for a task-management tool (B2B). I have done interviews with >15 people in different companies and while I think my solution will work, testing or validating my idea seems tricky as their companies have security concerns with third party apps.
Any advice on how to overcome this?
The best approach is to remove any analytics or trackers from the product. Give the cleanest one of them with self hosting or in a custom domain.
Tell them you care about privacy and they can audit or inspect the app. I believe that evaluating a B2B product on their premise could be trickier, and it might not be appreciated if you are validating or testing the product on their use.
It's easier to check with a small community of users recruited from the industry to validate.
