How can one thrive in the saturated market of uptime monitors?

Yes, there are dozens of services in this niche and I've never built something like that before.

Does it mean there is no room for one more (incl. success)?

My inner logic says that if I'll market it and spread the word, I will eventually have some success.

Hi ycm8, I guess it will be difficult to find an audience for that. There are already tons of solutions for this, many for free. I guess you would at least need something that differentiates you from the existing / established solutions.

    How will you market it?

      Hi @volkandkaya thanks for replying.

      • Write blog posts.
      • Give awesome customer service and attend to every issue that rises.
      • Try to reach out to potential customers and offer it for free (initially to get going).
      • Reach out to bloggers/newsletters and let them review the product.
      • Be active in forums like indie hackers and reddit and make people aware of my product.

I can start with a product that is stupidly lean and simple. For example, it can be just that you get an email whenever your website goes down, nothing more and nothing less. This will allow me to charge accordingly (making it cheap or free) and only when I get traction and enough users I can build more features and raise the price. Otherwise, I can just shut it down.
