How Can You Get 1000 True Fans For Your Hustle?

There are users, customers, fans, and then there are true fans.

As an entrepreneur and a maker, the latter is where you want to focus your maximum energy on!

Your true fans love everything you produce and release. They value it so much and are always happy to support your work. 1000 people who love everything you do as a content creator, expert, or communicator!

If you are starting or trying to grow a business, media channel, brand, etc., you don't need to be an international celebrity or even a bestselling author to make an impact and an income -- you need to develop your 1000 true fans:

‣ Build an audience first
‣ Build a direct relationship with your leads and customers, especially in the early days
‣ Become a "giver" by producing valuable free content
‣ Behave in a way that replicates how you are in the real world
‣ Build a following and turn it into a community
‣ Create more valuable mixed (free and paid) content for your true fans

The key idea is to have goals aligned with a couple of hundred to a few thousand of your true fans because they will buy and support your efforts enough to make your living.

    @ilonacodes. Great article. But i personally believe people should create an identity/brand which is different from thier real personality.

        I totally agree with you but from my personal experience and some people I follow online I like a brand to be separated from the actual person. more like, I am more interested in their work and content than their personality.

        I can go on for a long philosophical rant on this topic but I don't want to bore you.
