Hey everyone. I am doing nothing right now (other than learning React) so I want to work on making an open-source project. I have a question for you.
What would make coding with SASS even easier? 🤔
I am thinking of making an NPM package that gives your SASS even more powers 👊 than before.
Thank you, fellow IndieHackers! 😄
We're talking about SASS, not SAAS right?
Consider Styled Components or Emotion. They're the front-runners in the CSS -> SASS -> CSS-in-JS evolution :)
oh crap
My apologies :-) I've missed that bit.
Yes SASS. I was thinking about making something like that so it will help people get on their feet quicker with SASS
Template for standard stuff. Like, starting SAAS shouldn't begin from 0 every single time. Like, basic user management, basic profile, basic registration blocks should be there...maybe pluggable for "paid" versions, but with something that's usable from day 1?
Like, why do I have to implement all this crap and waste like 3 weeks on stuff that's common for all SAAS applications?
Just my 3 cents :-)
Unless I’m mistaken, the question is about SASS and not SaaS...
Anyways I happen to have a list of such SaaS boilerplates for different stacks, if you’re interested
Not exactly what I was talking about 😂, but I think your idea is still valid. I’ll consider this for future side projects.
yea, I got this by now :-)
Don’t worry. Your idea is still very good 😄
Agreed! Very relevant ideas there!
Any piece of code that makes lives easier is the best. Also, if you wish to monetize it then you can sell the npm package on PrivJs too.
Very cool. If my library gets lots of love, I’ll try it out.
