How Courses Work in Codenhack

Yesterday we talked about what hacks are, small projects you can build, test, and share instantly in Codenhack.
Today, let’s look at the other side of the experience: Courses. 🚀
We didn’t want to make just another coding tutorial. Our goal was to design courses where you’re active, not passive, coding, reflecting, and testing yourself at every step.
🧩 Lesson Types in Codenhack
Intro lessons (text only) → short, simple intros to a new concept or language
Code-along lessons → each lesson comes with an editor + live preview. Write HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, or Vue in the editor, and see the result update instantly
Terminal lessons → same setup, but instead of a preview you get a live terminal. Write JavaScript, Python, Java, or C, run it, and see the output right in the terminal console.
Reflection lessons → a space to pause, write your thoughts, and reflect on what you’ve learned
Quiz lessons → finish with a few quick questions to check your understanding before moving on
👉 This mix keeps the flow dynamic: read → code → reflect → test → move forward.

Love the focus on active learning here. The 'Reflection' lessons are a really smart idea. So many courses are just passive videos.
I just checked out your site – the cyberpunk theme is genius. That's the real killer feature. You're not just teaching code, you're building a whole vibe that makes me actually want to learn.
Answering your question: I'd personally pay for a course on 'APIs for Marketers'. There's a huge need for a course that teaches the tech side of growth to non-devs in a hands-on way.
Quick idea: what if you added a story or 'lore' that unfolds as people complete lessons? Could make the cyberpunk world feel even more real.

@ArkYu You completely got what we're trying to do, break away from passive tutorials and build a real rhythm that makes learning stick. That intro → code-along → reflection → quiz cycle is all about making learning natural and active, and it's so cool to see that it clicked with you. Reflection especially is such an overlooked step, and we want to make it a core part of the process. And yes, the cyberpunk theme , coding should feel like an adventure, not homework!
