How detailed do you make your designs?

I'm currently designing my product and I'm curious how deep you all go with your designs. I'm just trying to get the gist across and make important pages pretty.

I think a bunch of the design is up in the air depending on what's convenient with the frontend framework/libraries I'm planning to use (Ant design, chartjs). Because of this, I don't see much point in going too deep with designs. At the same time, not having pretty designs makes development less motivating.
