How did we build a Launch Tracking dashboard with 0 development cost?

We launched on Product Hunt today and one of the things we did differently this time is the launch tracker page with a graph of all relevant stats. This is done in the spirit of #BuildInPublic

The launch tracking dashboard is one of the contributors to the 75 votes at the moment.

There is no big reveal. It is Google Sheets :)

Every 30 mins (or earlier), we manually copy paste the stats from Google analytics and Product Hunt launch dashboard to Google sheets and it shows a nice graph.

We used the File-> Share -> Publish to Web -> Embed feature to get a embeddable widget that is plugged into our tracker page.

Also, we made everything read-only so that only we can edit the data.

This gave us a (almost) professional looking launch tracker that can be seen at https://notesally.com/launch/
