How did you get your first 100 subscribers?

What actions did you take to get your first 100 subscribers? What would you do if you had to start over?

I got my first 100 immediately by doing a LinkedIn post to my network. LinkedIn has been my largest acquisition channel

Thanks for sharin Andrew. I might try that strategy see if I get something out of linkedin

Posting on a consistent schedule and sharing via Twitter. Luckily, my newsletter curates content with a specific person each week so when I share on Twitter they often share with their audience as well.

Finding a natural path of growth like that has been key to my growth.

By writing consistently and sharing each issue on Twitter.

Eventually, when people saw the grind, they supported and I've started getting referrals to my weekly newsletter for non-technical founders.

If I started over, I would do the same

    Hi Jordi
I can't speak much because I'm on 96 on my current project (almost there!) but what is working for me lately is publishing related stuff on twitter, then getting followers, then sending a welcome DM asking for them to subscribe. Most times they accept and subscribe.

On another project, what I did was to publish a couple "how-to" guides that required to be subscribed to be able to download. That boosted the list to 1500 subscribers.

    I hope this helps?
    Best
