Well, I've been a freelance SEO for more than 10 years and I've never done a paid action to get clients.
Back in the day I opened a Twitter account and started giving SEO tips for small business owners and freelancers.
That's how I had my first clients, then one has been recommending me to another and to tell you the truth, right now I have neither web nor Twitter (🫠) I don’t need that anymore…
Because a group of collaborators from other marketing expertise (copywriters, designers, programmers ...) with whom I have been crossing over the years and who always recommend me to their clients.
I mean, if you do a graet job, people will recommend you and that is the best recruitment strategy, because the client comes to you and leaves almost convinced of your work…
