Did you use Product Hunt? Beta List? Indie Hackers? An email list? Your Twitter feed? Did you go door-to-door like I did as a kid, selling candy bars to raise money for my elementary school??
Please tell us:
I'm looking forward to interesting stories!
I first launched katlinks.io to my Twitter audience. Once I got some feedback and several paying users, I launched on Product Hunt, then a little later on Beta List.
But even today, my main driver of paying users is Twitter and Google.
Looks solid.
Still haven't converted to a pro account for ahrefs might give this a shot instead 🤓
Price def a factor.
Try it out and let me know if there's anything I can help you with!
Funny I just bookmarked your site yesterday because I read about it somewhere and then randomly I saw your comment here. Small world.
Oh, that's interesting! Do you remember where you read about it?
i have shared my products in different groups on facebok, reddit and on insta
below is a link to a product where it worked very well

we're experimenting at Breeze with different channels for our topic search engines; our core mix is user groups, discussion boards, &/or Product Hunt:
find guitar tabs -- started with FB groups, added Product Hunt last week, tripled our DAUs -> take it for a spin
find college scholarships -- private beta, emailing key product champions, get early access
search VC blogs -- mix of HN & other founder forums such as Indie Hackers, AskAnything.vc
I run polygonjs, but never launched, and I'd recommend not to think in those terms.
What I do though, is place breadcrumbs, so that the right people can find it. And that's a mix of inbound and outbound marketing. That's something you should ideally do every day, in parallel to building (but while I say that, I should admit I'm spending more time building than placing those breadcrumbs - so it's never easy).
I initially launched uxwizz.com on CodeCanyon but once it started gaining traction I switched to selling directly.
I first launched my Marketing Mix Modeling Software: https://cassandra.app/ developing a free beta that anyone could use it.
It was a complete failure, people did not understand how to use it.
I've redone everything creating masterclasses on how to do simple Marketing mix modeling using excel, distributed everything on twitter and Linkedin
This is the free masterclass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RSway2ZKoM&list=PLdaWFt7A-Gf22hlttVYYoR0HlJ-B7OYwo
This brought to me my 3 clients, people arrived to do my call understanding everything about my software and with that I achieved a 40% conversion rate
My product: BOWWE builder for building websites, landing pages, CVs, micro pages, portfolios.

Last November we launched our product on AppSumo and the campaign was very successful. I'm going to prepare a summary of our AppSumo campaign results and actions soon so keep in touch!
We're using:
We're planning to use Product Hunt in the nearest future and become active in some forums (a.i., for no-coders, for digital marketers who need landing pages, for influencers who might need some micro pages)
Do you have any suggestions for us? Anybody else working in SaaS with some cool tips?
We launched the private beta of Kairn on Twitter and Linkedin. We are now preparing our public launch, thinking about doing a Product Hunt but reading your comments is of great help!
If you have any advice / tips on how to go from beta to public version while making noise, I'm interested!
How you ask? 😉
Anyway, try not to think of “launching” as a one-time event. You should always be launching your product
I did ProductHunt and paid Chris Messina from Twitter (#1 hunter on ProductHunt) $10 worth of coffee to "hunt" it for me (can submit on his website). Got it the Top 10 for the day but after that nothing really happened.
There is no such thing as "launching". the launch will be nothing special for your product. it will be just another day. you will have to market every single day in order to make progress. There is no such thing as a "launch" unless you have millions of USD in ad firepower to flood your landing page.
