How did you promote your startup? Share your experience!

About a year ago, I started my first project (it was something similar to the current getflow.space, only worse) and when the project was finished I started thinking about how to reach a target audience, in general, to understand if anyone liked this stuff. I started reading and saw step-by-step instructions such as go to Betalist, ProductHunt, write on review websites, etc. And, in general, I did everything according to the plan. But the results turned out to be rather sad - the traffic dragged around 20-60 visitors a month, then it completely died out.

Now I am doing about the same thing with a product that is cooler in my opinion and I can't wait for the results.

How did you approach promoting a startup(SaaS for example)? What was the experience?

For my first users who are now evangelists, I searched my Hastags (#nft) then went into the comment sections, GENIUNELY complimented the Art, then asked if i could DM (this was before i had th e platform or even a landing page) out of the Uncountables i DMed about 6 to 10 said yes most liked but snubbed the question. The first person said was less interested (now the person is a somewhat evangelist) The rest were extremely pumped about the idea, So i built on them, Now within the last 2 months i've soent $0 on Advertising and grown on the basis of Word of mouth

Sounds cool! Thanks for your answer, I will try your advice in action!

I had the experience of communicating with Instagram bloggers: I wrote to about 100 people (who could theoretically like my product) and, hah, about 10 people answered me, 2 of them later collaborated with me because when I realized the prices for advertising bloggers it was a big surprise for me! XD

Thats the trick, If you message another 100, 5 will reply then you build from there
