How do cloud companies deal with shortage of IPv4 addresses?

Hi,

I recently came across the problem of IPv4 address exhaustion. Given that IPv6 is not gaining momentum as fast as it should and big cloud providers have been hoarding IPv4 addresses.

I wonder if SMBs, individual developers and indie hackers would have to enter the price war to obtain a spot on the internet?

I really appreciate any input regarding this discussion.
