How do I explain my startup in one line?
I think I have to change the explanation for my startup based on the feedback I received on IH.
Because it seems like users do not understand the wording on my pre-launch page.
It's a platform to manage your offline community online.
Any suggestions, I can explain it in better words?
I think you should spend some more time in the shoes of those you expect to use your platform. Explaining it better, only gets better in time depending on your understanding of your business and the true value of its offering. Its also important to note that your business will go through naturally changes that you should allow. Try to focus 1 MAJOR pain 8 out of 10 will appreciate. It took me a little over 2 years to define my business in a sentence and even now its definition is changing as it grows.
Can you elaborate more on what your platform does?
If I have to give an example then I would say it is similar to meetup.com
Hi, are you building a PRM (Personal relationship management) tool?
Looked at the linked page but only guessed that as you wrote "manage your offline community online". If my guess (PRM) is correct, I would go with that tagline until something better is found.
Fyi, check your site in a mobile browser. The link to the data protection stuff looks a bit strange.
