How do I get sales for my product?

I have received some general feedback on how to go about doing sales. It's good and it has helped me a bit, but lately, I am feeling a bit lost.

Can you share some actionable steps that are specific to my product? Thanks!

    Hey Imran Khan,
Honestly, this "do you have any idea" approach often does not work. What you want is to:

    • understand your potential customers - so create a list of testers and ask them about what they like about the product, what is the challenge that will help them overcome by your product, etc.
    • reflect that on the website
    • build a funnel around that
We even have a several-video course about how to set persona and stuff, so you understand your customers, how to build a funnel etc. You can find it here: https://spacetime.ooo/scalable-digital-strategy-for-lean-managers/

Anyway, one thing I would definitely change is to offer free trial or freemium model - I took a look at your website, started to have an idea on what the product is about but I would love to see it in action, to have the experience, to be absolutely sure why I need it. But then I found out that I need to enter my credit card, so I just closed the website... you know what I mean → offer the experience.

Hi Imran...I checked out your page and found 3 things that you can do
    to get people to convert.

1/ REPLACE THE DEMO REVIEWS WIDGET

Instead of showing a generic template...show the real thing!
Show a testimonial reel for YOUR business...using YOUR product

[If you don't have customers yet...then I recommend creating a beta test program]

2/ EXPLAIN THE FEATURES IN TERMS OF RESULTS

Does the carousel widget convert better than the wall widget?
If it does...in which cases & what context?

[If you don't know...I recommend creating a beta test program]

3/ SHOW NOT TELL HOW IT WORKS

This is where the demo should be...make it in step form & keep the instructions as clear & concise as possible...then explain what results, within which timeframe to expect...under what context.

[If you don't know the last part I recommend creating a beta test program]

I hope this helps...everyone gets lost sometimes
    ...keep testing & trying new things...it's a learning process🙂
