How do i get users to signup and post on my website?
I made a hacker news clone with an emphasis on technical implementation. but the reception has been lack lustre.
how do i get ppl to signup and post .
I launched on PH with little reception and barely crossing 5 signup.
I am open to any idea as long as it doesn't involve me spending any money. LOL

I would suggest building up an email list then start talking to everyone of them. The reason being not everyone would reply but 10% of a 100 emails list would help tremendously.
