How do I get very good at Facebook ads very quickly

My most recent pivot has been quite successful. I am now offering an e-commerce service where I also manage the client's local Facebook campaigns. My clients are all very small (or micro) businesses and I am content that I am doing a good job for them but I want to get better. How do I become very very good at Facebook marketing for this segment in a very short time. What training or other online resources would your recommend.

How do you get good at Facebook ads? There is just one answer:

    Learn and Test

Read every article out there about Facebook ads, watch every youtube video out there about Facebook ads. Test what you learned only then will you be good at Facebook ads

      Thanks for the feedback.

Find one good PPC blogger and read all their stuff. I learned a lot from Susan Wenograd— though I don't she blogs as much.

One tip I learned from her: Facebook is all about funnels. Don't just start with a conversion campaign, start with a lower cost campaign that you can use to validate interested customers— then target interested customers with a conversion campaign.

You don't. Try smaller budgets with very targeted, niched down audience and build from there.

Thank you Shiva. If you had a budget of $100 for a week would you try A/B testing with several audiences or stick to just one audience?

Alternatively, would you keep to 1 audience and A/B test the message?

I will niche down as much as possible.

Can you recommend any resources on niching down. I did create my first "look-alike" audience yesterday. This based on "Website Vistors" because I don't have 100 conversions yet and cannot use "Website Sales"

Use the filters well. Try and create as much overlap of targeting/interests as possible. There is no good reliable resource that is better than Facebook native tool as far as I know.
