Hi all,
First time posting here! I am currently developing an application for my smart bike trainer.
The focus lies on making and sharing your own workouts with segments based on heart rate, power, cadence, ...
It would be an app to record your activities and connect to the trainer plus a website where you can see past activities and create new workouts, connect with friends and export to other platforms.
I was thinking of sharing my application with the world and made a quick pre-launch landing page. The problem is that I don't know how to drive the right people to that website. Also, I'd like to get some feedback for my idea from people who are maybe using Zwift or Sufferfest. The ideal solution would be to go on the forums of those platforms, but I don't think that would be very much appreciated.
Where do you usually find people from your target audience to validate your ideas? Is there a platform where people can give a quick opinion on an idea?
Thanks for reading!
Since your target audience is physically active, I'd just chat up a few bikers on the road actually. Talk to them. Although.. corona.. Perhaps just don't shake their hand :D
I have to say that Corona IS good for extra development hours! And indoor-biking seems like a good idea at the moment as well
Nothing wrong going on forums for the likes of Zwift, though you'd probably want to focus on answering questions that your app solves and not necessarily answer to pitch them your thing, answer with something helpful then maybe have a link back to your website in the footer.
That's a good idea! Thanks for the feedback!
