How do I validate an idea and find customers?
Hello, I'm a student developer and have an idea about a saas web app. How do I go for it? In the past, I've created projects without market research, idea validation and they didn't get the users. My question to the IH community is how do I validate my idea this time? Do I just present the idea or create an MVP for the user to try it out?
Who is your target audience? Define them and talk to them to see if you are solving their problem. I would refrain from building any MVPs at this stage because you want to spend your time further defining the problem and how to solve it.
If you want to show something to your potential users, create a wireframe or design a few screens.
If you do this right and solve someone's problem, you will likely end up with your first couple of users.
