What's your idea? What's your background? What's your business model?
I have a IT background and have ideas for a few mobile apps/ software to solve problems here and there. Done some research in the target audience etc and some hand drawn designs of how the product will look like and so on..
There's an inverse relationship between funding and lack of progress. The best thing you can do is continue to work/improve your idea and get measurable progress. The more you have, the easier it will be to eventually land funding. Also, many would say this will also increase your chance of long term success for the idea.
