How do you as a digital nomad keep your things safe? (sharing lessons from getting computer stolen)
As everything in life, freedom of working remotely often comes with a price of losing your precious data and electronic devices if you're not careful.
What are the precaution measures that you're taking to prevent or prepare yourself in case your things and data get stolen?

Excellent article! Many thanks for sharing. The action points you list definitely help develop a cybersecurity mindset. One addition: if your device gets stolen you may have to consider to reporting the incident at the data protection authority, provided you held personal data, e.g. email addresses of European customer/users on the device.
This was a really great thread, and even though the setup is obviously just to advertise your own blog post its done in a charming way and has brought some great replies.

PacSafe safe is great, and there is a good chance my next backpack may be from them too. Otherwise cloud backups, cloud drives etc. I also keep a Time Machine backup drive in my suitcase that I backup to once a week or so.

I make multiple backups daily, and have an additional backup stored in the cloud of my most important data.

Arq recently released Arq Cloud Backup, for fast encrypted backups. They use Wasabi for data storage.
I've been testing it for a week now and everything works smoothly.
