How do you build products on top of Notion?

Hey Indie hackers,

I'm a newbie developer and i'm really curious on how people build products on top of Notion. Other than adding simple widgets I don't really find a way to add working components on notion pages?

How does it's possible to build complex UI's like website builders in notion?
