How Do You Build Something People Want?

    Telling founders simply to "build something people want" is at best unhelpful... and at worst condescending. Founders are trying. Hard. Of course, they WANT to build great products. Let's stop spouting platitudes and start giving more actionable guidance, please.

    I love the open line.

    When I hear someone give a general advice without further guidance or explanation, I get the impression of that person to hear that advice somewhere, without deep understanding.

      I'd love to hear ideas how we can better help people, I often get stuck on this. Or it just takes a lot of time to try to understand the business of market the person is in.

    I love Justin’s writing and also it’s nice that he seems like a really good person too.

    Having listened to him on a bunch of podcasts, I always read his writing in his voice 😸
