How do you capture user feedback?

So the thing is, I was about to send out an email to my earliest signups for https://slick.events asking them about their first experience.

Knowing that response rates are quite low I wanted to do something different than simply expecting people to respond to my email.

So I added three links to my email with the question What was your first impression of Slick.events?

πŸŽ‰ I love it and will use Slick.events for my next event
πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I expected more
πŸ‘Ž I wont be using Slick.events

Clicking on a link would take the user to a simple simple feedback landing page, then I'm using url parameters and Google Analytics to get the response data - I didn't want to build a comment form on the webpage which in hindsight would have been a good idea...

Surely there must be many other ways of doing this, so what do you use to capture feedback from your users when sending out emails?

Almost this --> πŸŽ‰ I love it and will use Slick.events for my next event

But since I already have my own system for events, I won't be using it. But it's a great idea and looks good.

I should also add that perhaps you might mention somewhere that if attendees pay by credit card, who pays the transaction fees?

Thanks for the feedback! I will make sure to add some text around that!
