How do you collect email addresses for a waiting list?

I am currently implementing the landing page for a new side project. How do you collect the email addresses for a waiting list?

So far I've either used an existing authentication system (e.g. Auth0) or I've built one by myself with DynamoDB + Lambda.

Any recommendations?

    Hi Sandro, check out free email subscription tools, like ConvertKit. It will save you a lot of time and you can start collecting emails way before your backend is ready.

      I will definitely to that. I wanted to use revue but I don't get a confirmation mail and support won't reply. So it will be convert kit

      Hi Sandro, I agree with @skkap, just use some mailing platform for that. Most of them even offer setting up a landing page for free.
      ConvertKit is awesome, but you need to start paying very soon. If you want a completely free solution (up to 1000 subscribers) check out MailerLite.
