I am struggling to come up with a name for my first ever newsletter. I want to know what process do you use to come up with a name? What should be my priorities?
However, until I figure it out, I have settled on a name that won't make a lot of sense to everyone. Let's see where it goes.
I wanted to make it simple but Khayali Pulao made sense as my readers are from India and Pakistan. It means 'daydreaming.'
My goal is to help others become more curious and live creatively using the simple tools I use to solve any problem.

I'd appreciate if you can give any feedback on the name or overall theme.
I usually combine simple words that describe my work or values. It helps me come up with something unique and personal.
I named https://posttruth.substack.com/ Post Truth on a whim -- it came to mind, I loved the idea of "posting truth" in the sense of making an online post, and "post-truth" in the way people describe our modern era.
I tried not to overthink it.
Sounds good, all the best.
I usually brain-dump all the names that come to my mind.
Then divide it into multiple groups like creative names, Logical ones etc.
First, make sure that your name has some relatability with the service/ product you provide.
Otherwise, it will be really hard to market it in the starting.
Mine have come to me when i stopped thinking about it, as if like a bolt of lightning from above :) realr.ai 281sport.com designsuccess.co
I've started a couple different newsletters and one course business (admittedly, none of them yet successful for various reasons), and when it came to defining a name, here's what I always thought about:
The names I ended up coming up with were Climate Chronicles (newsletter), Just Progress (newsletter), and Everyday Writer (course-based business).
Hope this is helpful!

Hey, thanks. Checking this out now.
It does not fit right, go with - Curious Minds or Innovative Ideas
Hey, thanks for replying. 🙏 But isn't it generic? Although I see that its very simple to understand for readers. But should I keep my specific audience in mind (Indians & Pakistanis), they will understand it at first glance.
What do you suggest?
Its your choice, but I will never go with it. It literally translates into Imaginary Ideas
I understand, thanks a million for your input though. It is helpful.
