How do you come up with startup ideas effectively? 💡

Uncovering fantastic startup or product ideas is much like the work of Indiana Jones 🤔 Let’s face it: with numerous inventions already in existence and a market saturated with solutions for almost any problem, it's not an easy task.

How do you find ideas that are worth building a startup around? Consider these strategies to find something promising:

🔷 Instead of immediately searching for solutions, focus on identifying problems.
🔷 Explore forums and chats to uncover common pain points experienced by users.
🔷 Harness the power of AI and other innovative tools to stimulate brainstorming.
🔷 Study the strengths and weaknesses of competing solutions in the market.
🔷 Analyze products that failed to achieve success as a source of inspiration.

Of course, there are many more techniques available. For more information and examples of how renowned brands and startups have generated their product ideas, check out this compellation ⇢

Scratch your own itch. What problems do you have in your day-to-day work? If it were a solution to your problem, would you pay to solve it? Then go for it

I second the harnessing AI point. I've been asking ChatGPT to come up with micro saas ideas in niches I am interested in. Specifically uncommon ones and I think I finally got it to come up with a good idea that I can build.

I think AI tools will NOT bring any value here as they won't pay for your products.

What you need is a true source of users and validate the problem you're trying to solve actually bothering anyone that willing to pay for it. Reddit threads and competition can be a good sign for it.
