Hey IH community! 👋
I'm currently building AuditMe.dev — a technical SEO audit platform designed to automate repetitive optimization workflows.
I'm looking to connect with potential co-founders, collaborators, or experienced makers to discuss scaling and growth strategies.
Since IH doesn't have a built-in DM system, what's the standard practice for moving these chats to private? Do you usually drop your Twitter/X handle, Telegram, or an email?
Would love to hear how you handle private outreach here, and if you're interested in the SEO space, feel free to check out the project and drop your thoughts!
Thanks!
X DM is the default for most people here — most makers have it linked in their profile, so you don't need to drop anything in the post. The trick that works: reply in the thread first with something useful, then DM referencing that exchange. Cold DM out of nowhere gets ignored; "we were just talking about your SEO audit" gets a response. If you want to avoid your email entirely, a dedicated contact form or a proton/forwarding address keeps it off the public profile.
Appreciate the tip! Makes total sense — building that quick context in the replies first is definitely the way to go before hitting the DMs. I'll stick to that flow for outreach. 🤝
