How do you decide what to repurpose from a long post?
Every time I ship a long post I know there are a few smaller posts buried in it. The problem is picking which parts. Some sections that felt like the whole point land flat as standalone posts, and some throwaway line becomes the thing people quote.
How do you decide what's worth pulling out? Do you tag it while writing or mine it afterward? And do you turn one long piece into several on purpose, or does it just happen when you're out of ideas?
