How do you decide where to share a new project?

Every time I finish a side project, I hit the same wall:
Where do I actually share it?

Indie Hackers, Reddit, Twitter/X, directories, Product Hunt - each seems to work sometimes, but I usually end up guessing.

I’m curious how other indie founders think about this:

Do you focus on one platform or spread across many?

Do you wait until there’s traction, or share early?

What’s actually worked for you recently?
